Evan Chafitz, D.M.D. was raised in Queens, NYC, graduated from the Bronx High School of Science in 1983, and received his Bachelors of science in biology from SUNY at Albany in 1987 graduating Cum laude. Dr. Chafitz received his DMD degree in 1991 from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. Immediately following graduation from Dental school he entered the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery program at Metropolitan Hospital Center, New York Medical College in NYC. Dr. Chafitz completed his residency in 1995 and entered private practice.
Due to his interest in educational training, and his clinical and academic skills, Dr. Chafitz was asked to remain on the teaching staff at Metropolitan Hospital Center following the completion of his residency. Subsequent to this he has expanded his responsibilities at the New York Medical College, achieving the level of assistant professor.
He is the former section chief at both Metropolitan Hospital Center in NYC and Our Lady of Mercy in the Bronx. Dr. Chafitz is also the former associate program director of the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Residency at New York Medical College. He still maintains an appointment at NY medical college and frequently lectures to the Oral & Maxillofacial Surgical residents.
Dr. Chafitz’ training provided extensive experience in all aspects of oral surgery including bone grafting, implants and anesthesia. Dr. Chafitz is a Board Certified Surgeon, a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, and a fellow of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons. Dr. Chafitz’ practice has evolved into a full scope office based practice with a particular focus on Dental implants, bone grafting, and Cat scan guided surgeries. He prides himself on his merging of years of surgical experience, his thirst for continued knowledge, and his ability to incorporate cutting edge technology in his treatment of surgical patients.
Dr. Chafitz has lived near to the office for the past 11 years which has afforded him the opportunity to be available to his patients at all times. He still finds time to be active in his community and spends a great deal of time with his family enjoying golf, watching sports and pursuing his love of classic cars.

Dr. Timothy Leung is a graduate of the University of Toronto School of Public Health (MPH), the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine (DMD) and Weill Cornell Medical College (MD). He received training in oral and maxillofacial surgery and general surgery from the New York Presbyterian Hospital/Weill Cornell Medical Center, where he also served as Chief Resident in the department of Dentistry, Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. His interests include the full scope of oral and maxillofacial surgery with an emphasis on dental implantology, dentoalveolar surgery, office based anesthesia, temporomandibular disorders and orthognathic/corrective jaw surgery. In his free time, Dr. Leung enjoys spending time with his wife and children. He enjoys golf, basketball, and traveling.

Dr. Matthew Lalli, DDS is a long time resident of Eastchester, NY. Dr. Lalli is a graduate of the University of Massachusetts Amherst where he received his BS in Chemistry. He received his DDS from Stony Brook School of Dental Medicine and then entered the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Program at New York Medical College at Westchester Medical Center. Dr. Lalli is a graduate of Eastchester High School and worked at Scarsdale Oral Surgery as an intern and surgical assistant in high school and college. His interests include dentoalveolar surgery, advanced implant treatment planning, office based anesthesia and trauma of the facial bones. Dr. Lalli has always had a keen interest in teaching and is looking to join his past residency program in the future. Dr. Lalli enjoys sports, traveling, cooking, golf and cars.

Dr. Jessica Fayans is a full scope Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon with a focus on complex office-based procedures including wisdom teeth, dental implant surgery, advanced bone grafting, exposures of impacted canines for orthodontic patients, and apicoectomies. Dr. Fayans provides her patients with a full range of oral and maxillofacial surgery services including Intravenous Sedation.
A native of New York, Dr. Fayans was raised in Long Island and at a young age started volunteering in Emergency Rooms in underserved areas of NYC. She saw a variety of cases, from trauma to the face, cleft palate repair, as well as dentoalveolar surgery. Dr. Fayans attended Dental School at The University of Pennsylvania where she was awarded the Dean’s Scholarship and graduated from the prestigious Clinical Honors Program. She also volunteered in Jerusalem, Israel in the Oral Surgery Department of Hadassah Hospital, where she was able to partake in resections of tumors, TMJ surgery and orthognathic surgery. She went on to complete her Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Residency Program at Brookdale University Hospital and Medical Center, where she served as Chief Resident.
Dr. Fayans grew up as a competitive opera singer specializing in Italian Arias. She was the captain of her cheerleading team in high school and a member of the cheerleading team in college at Lehigh University in Pennsylvania. Dr. Fayans was also a competitive kayaker, and attended the Empire State Games and was selected for the Nationals. To this day, she still loves kayaking and sailing in Long Island, where she spends a lot of her time during the summer. She is also a world-wide traveler, who is always looking for new ways to explore and broaden her horizons.
Throughout Dr. Fayans’ life she has always demonstrated her compassionate nature and commitment to her goals. This has enhanced her ability to provide expedited care in all areas of oral surgery with enthusiasm, high energy and good bed-side manner.

Richard Salas, DDS, MD was born and raised in Malibu, California. He first moved to the East Coast for his undergraduate studies where he attended Cornell University on a full scholarship. He then continued his studies at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) School of Dentistry. While at UCSF he developed a profound interest in surgery through externships and research. His particular interest in the quality of life of post-surgical patients led to a publication in the Journal of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. Dr. Salas served as Class President and went on to graduate among the top of his class.
Dr. Salas returned to New York to earn a medical degree at Weill Cornell Medical College and to complete his Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery residency. His training involved a General Surgery internship and rotations that included trauma, plastic/reconstructive surgery, and anesthesiology. During his residency at Cornell, he was trained in full scope oral and maxillofacial surgery, with an emphasis on orthognathics, craniofacial surgery, and complex dental implantology. Dr. Salas speaks Spanish and in his free time he enjoys sports, going to the movies and exploring new restaurants.

Andrew Breiman graduated from New York University College of Dentistry in 1975. He completed his residency in anesthesiology and general dentistry in 1977 and his Oral and Maxillofacial surgery residency at Albert Einsten College of Medicine in 1980. He is currently as associate professor of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at New York Presbyterian Hospital and Columbia University School of Dentistry since 1988. He is an attending at St. John’s Riverside Hospital since 1983. Dr. Breiman is a member of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons (AAOMS), a member of the International College of Implantology and fellow of the American College of Dentistry (FACD). He is a past president of both the Yonkers Dental Society and NY State Society of Dental Anesthesia. Dr. Breiman has extensive experience in implantology, orthognathic surgery and dentofacial surgery. He has appeared on Good Morning America to discuss maxillofacial reconstruction. Dr. Breiman and his wife have three sons and a daughter. His interest include golf, kayaking and days at the beach. He has practiced in Yonkers since 1980.
